Raised in both Korea and the U.S., Sue’s multicultural upbringing not only taught her the transformative power of immersive education but also helped shape her identity and her passion for connecting these two worlds. With over 15 years of diverse experience in the education sector, Sue has a proven track record of inspiring students. Her entrepreneurial spirit is the driving force behind her latest venture, BridgeKedu.

Valerie Nicole Teal

Managing Director, Co-Founder

Valerie, a native of the United States, transitioned from a successful career as a corporate attorney in charter school development for a prominent national operator, to teaching in Korea — a move inspired by her passion for education and cultural exchange. Over the last six years, Valerie taught hundreds of students in private settings and as a professor at a global university. At BridgeKedu, Valerie will leverage her extensive legal and business development skills along with her insights into global student needs to ensure our success.

Calvin (Kiseok) Choe

Calvin, a native of Korea, worked for Samsung C&T and has dedicated 16 years to the field of education, including founding Korea’s No.1 GMAT/MBA prep school and becoming a nationally renowned instructor. With an in-depth understanding of Korean culture, Calvin is eager to extend a warm welcome to those interested in Korean culture and education through BridgeKedu. It is his solemn promise to deliver the highest standard of service with kindness and warmth to everyone who chooses to come to Korea.

Cathryn Beveridge

Consultant

Based in Atlanta, Cathryn brings her unique background in teaching, curriculum development, and corporate law to BridgeKedu. After a successful career as a corporate paralegal for large national law firms, Cathryn decided to pursue her true passion, which was teaching and literature, so she taught high school English for 10 years. After her visit to Korea in 2023, Cathryn became fascinated with K-culture and recognized the true potential of bridging the two worlds, to open the minds and hearts of young global citizens.
